Medical Care
Medical Training:

While we aren't sure about the requirements for Healers and Mediwizards. This is what will apply in game.

Mediwizards: Think RN/paramedics. Requirements to become a mediwizard include O.W.L.s of at least grade E (Exceeds Expectations) in the subjects of Transfiguration, Potions, Charms, Herbology and Defence Against the Dark Arts. They study for two years at St. Mungo's and then they are certified. Mediwizards wear blue robes.

Trainee Healers: Requirements to become a Healer include N.E.W.T.s of at least grade E (Exceeds Expectations) in the subjects of Transfiguration, Potions, Charms, Herbology and Defence Against the Dark Arts. They study and train for four years. During this time, they rotate in the different sections, learning a little of everything. Trainee Healers wear teal robes.

Healers: After they complete the four years, they can choose to remain general Healers or specialize.

General Healers will study another 2 years inside St. Mungo's before they can chose to stay at the hospital or enter private practice

Specialised Healers will study from 3 to 5 years, depending on what their specialisation.

Healers wear lime green robes.

All Healers will wear a ring. The ring can be either silver or gold and in two different shapes.

Shape 1
Shape 2

The person can choose the shape and metal. The ring will become hot when they are required to go to a ward and the name of the ward will appear in the stone.

The stones will represent the different specialisations.

Artifact Accidents - Pearl
Creature-Induced Injuries - Yellow Topaz
General - Amethyst (Anthony)
ER - Ruby (Jake)
Magical Bugs - Citrine
Poisoning - Sapphire (Tracey)
Psychology - Moonstone (Mandy)
Research - Diamond (Stephen)
Spell Damage - Emerald

Trainee - Aquamarine (Lori)

St Mungo's:

It's located in an abandoned department store in London. It treat wizards for all sorts of magic-related illnesses and injuries, and in extreme circumstances has been known to treat Muggles as well. The hospital's logo is a wand and a bone, crossed , and donations are welcome.

The entrance to St. Mungo's is concealed behind an abandoned red-brick London department store called Purge and Dowse, Ltd. on a Muggle street. St. Mungo's is visible to passing Muggles, who merely believe the sign on the front that the store is "Closed for Refurbishment." In the front window, a dummy dressed in outdated styles serves as the gatekeeper; wizards wanting to enter do so by talking to the dummy, and then walking straight through the window .

Inside, in a reception area filled with rickety wooden chairs and outdated issues of Witch Weekly, visitors are greeted by the Welcome Witch, though her demeanor (at least on busy days) is less than welcoming. This reception area seems to double as a visitors' entrance and an emergency room waiting area, as it is often filled with wizards facing strange ailments.

Ground Floor: Artifact Accidents - (Cauldron explosion, wand-backfiring, broom crashes, etc.)

First Floor: Creature-Induced Injuries - (Bites, stings, burns, embedded spiders, etc.)

Second Floor: Magical Bugs - (Contagious maladies, e.g., dragon pox, vanishing sickness, scrofungulus)

Third Floor: Potion and Plant Poisoning - (Rashes, regurgitation, uncontrollable giggling, etc.)

Fourth Floor: Spell Damage - (Unliftable jinxes, hexes, and incorrectly applied charms, etc.)

Fifth Floor: Visitor's Tearoom and Hospital Shop

Wards:

Dai Llewellyn ward (First Floor)
This ward is small and dingy and has only one window, which lies opposite the door. It is mainly illuminated by shining crystal bubbles clustered in the middle of the ceiling. The ward is named for Dai Llewellyn, an extremely famous Quidditch player who was eaten by a Chimaera.

Janus Thickey ward (Fourth Floor)
This is a long-term residents' ward located on this floor for people whose brains has been permanently affected by magic.
Some residents of this ward: Broderick Bode and a witch named Agnes, Frank and Alice Longbottom, and Lockhart.
